Pins & Needles Comedy Returns July 30 with Flash Tattoos, Artist Pop-Up, and Two POSER Comics
Pins & Needles Comedy is back at Secret Pour on Thursday, July 30 at 8:30 PM for another tattoo-heavy night of stand-up, flash art, artists, drinks, and New York City comedy that does not feel like every other comedy show.
This one is special: for the first time, we are bringing in two POSER comics.
For anyone new to the show, Pins & Needles is built around the tagline “Strip down for stand up.” Tattooed comics perform in show garments and reveal their tattoos as part of the night’s visual world. But every show also has a POSER spot: a comic without tattoos who steps into the format anyway.
On July 30, we are doubling it.
That means two non-tattooed comics entering a tattoo-heavy lineup, fully aware they are the odd ones out. It adds a new layer to the show: tattooed comics, tattoo culture, body art, flash designs, and two brave POSERS trying to survive the room without a single tattoo to defend themselves.
Pins & Needles is not a standard comedy show in the back of a bar. It is part stand-up, part tattoo night, part artist pop-up, and part underground hang. The night brings together comics, tattoo artists, visual artists, vendors, raffles, flash tattoos, drinks, and an audience that wants something more visually interesting than a regular lineup.
The show is bold, intimate, tattoo-heavy, and built to feel like a full night out. Comics are not just telling jokes. They are part of the look, the format, and the room.
Expect stand-up, flash tattoos, an artist pop-up, vendors, raffles, drinks, and the kind of post-show hang that keeps the night going after the mic turns off.
